1. The service

droid.monster is run by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ([REGISTERED ADDRESS]). It is a reference catalogue of commercially available robots, with a noticeboard where people can list equipment for sale, offer consulting, and describe projects they need help with. We put people in touch. We are not a party to any sale or engagement that follows: we don’t take payment, hold money, guarantee work, or settle disputes.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Google account, and you are responsible for what is done with it. One person, one account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it. You can delete your account at any time from Account → Privacy.

3. What you publish

It must be true, yours to publish, and about robotics and automation.
No spam, advertising unrelated to what you list, or bulk messages.
Don’t use the contact forms to recruit, sell unrelated services, or collect people’s details.
Nothing unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
Don’t post other people’s personal data or confidential information.

Everything is checked before it goes live, and checked again when you change it. We may decline, hide or remove content that breaks these terms, and we give a reason when we do. You keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to show it on this site, and in the site’s own data feeds, for as long as you keep it published.

4. Consultants

You create your profile yourself, and only for yourself. We never add anyone to the directory.
Everything you claim must be accurate: experience, the robots and applications you have worked with, credentials, and your company. A “verified” mark is our own check, and only we can add it.
Keep your availability current. A profile you don’t confirm for a year is taken off the site until you confirm it.
Enquiries include the sender’s name and email address so that you can reply. Use them only to answer that enquiry.
Any engagement is between you and your client, on terms you agree between yourselves. That includes insurance, safety responsibilities, and compliance with local rules.

5. Projects

Describe the work, not confidential details. Anyone can read a published project, without your name, and with your company only if you choose to show it.
Consultants who respond share their email address with you. Use it only for that project.
A project closes after 60 days. Mark it filled or closed when you’re done.
Nobody is obliged to respond, and you are not obliged to hire anyone who does.

6. Listings

Sellers describe what they sell honestly, including faults. We don’t inspect equipment, handle payment, or arrange delivery. Check before you pay.

7. The catalogue

Specifications are taken from the documents they cite, which are linked beside each value. We work to get them right, but they can be wrong or out of date. Check the source before you rely on a figure for a purchase or a safety decision.

8. Liability

The site is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from dealings between users, from content users publish, or from relying on catalogue data without checking its source. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Changes and law

If these terms change in a way that matters, the version date changes, and you are asked to accept the new version the next time you submit a consultant profile or a project.
